Travel Thai(m): Air Hotel Packages Start from $579

More Fabulous Fall Fares from Fly Europe
Whoops, they've done it again. The folks at 1-800 Fly Europe have unleashed more fall fares to Europe, and as usual, they've got great rates. Spanish School in Costa Rica
From nadine tritle: "If anyone is looking for a good and inexpensive Spanish School, I attended Montana Linda in Orosi and really loved it. Firstly, it was CHEAP and secondly, the classes were really quality. I had one on one classes for no additional charge, i stayed with a host family, that treated me better than my own." more>

"Delta Dollars" Don't Go Very Far
From Cecil Murray :"My wife and I took a voluntary bump from a Delta flight in April from Mexico and were each given a $400 'Delta Dollars' voucher for traveling a day later. We decided to use them for a trip from Raleigh to San Juan, Puerto Rico this September, and went to the Delta.com website to buy the tickets. Low and behold, the $399 roundtrip price quoted on their website could not be bought with 'Delta Dollars.'" more>

"False Imprisonment" by American Airlines?
From Jim Leggett: "Our American Eagle flight from Charlotte to Chicago departed late due to storms in the Chicago area. Then en route the aircraft made an emergency fuelling stop at Springfield MO taking up considerable time. "The ONE toilet on the plane backed up, so was unsuable. We and other rather desperate passengers asked to be let off to visit a toilet during the fuel stop, but were refused as there was no security. (Security, to heed the call of nature. What next?) OK, so we should never have had that extra soda!" more>

July 4th Fireworks in D.C.
From Robbie Blackford: "I'll be visiting my daughter in Washington D.C. over 4th of July, I really want to see the fireworks; she refuses to deal with the masses on or near the Mall. Does anyone know of a rooftop restaurant or bar where we can watch the fireworks?" more>
