Las Vegas/Stardust Trip Report
From KVR: "We had just gone in April for my birthday and had no plans going back, but found a great deal for a long weekend at the Stardust for $500 with air for the both of us, and just couldn't pass it up. We purchased a Southwest Airlines vacation package for the Stardust which guarenteed a tower room and not a villa. We chose the Stardust mainly because we wanted to just hang around the pool this time and felt their hotel/pool area wouldn't be crowded even at this time of the year. I was so right." more>

Warning: Sixt (also known as Irish Car Rental)
From Frank Odette: "I had a bad experience renting a car from Shannon with Sixt. First, I was surprised after making a reservation to get a note that my credit card is immediately charged and there is a 15% penalty to cancel (I know, I should have read the small print first). My biggest complain though, is that on arrival, I was told I had to pay a 32 euro 'credit card administration fee' which the counter guy said MasterCard charges if you dont take the optional insurance!" more>
