From Dick Barton: "My wife and I enjoy cruising. She has developed a lung disease and requires oxygen at all times. We recently decided to try another cruise before she became completely incompacitated. The cruise line was very cooperative in allowing oxygen aboard. Our problem is in the transfer segment of the trip. We cannot arrange for oxygen from the airport to the ship. In addition, there is no availability of oxygen after she leaves the ship to return to the airport and while she is in the airport. This is a new experience for us and I would appreciate any advise and counsel anyone could offer. Help!"
From Kathy Kapes: "We booked a trip to Rome through Go-Today, including an additional reservation for transfer from the airport to our hotel. When we presented our voucher to the transportation desk at the Rome airport, the woman on staff curtly told us that our reserved bus was filled and there would not be another for 2 hours. Needless to say, we did not want to wait that long in the airport after an all-night flight. She refused to return our voucher, but I had made a photo copy before leaving home. When we arrived back in the States, I emailed Go-Today and included my transfer voucher number and reservation number. They quickly responded that they would check into it. A few days later, I received another email saying that my credit card would be credited for the $30 for two transportation vouchers, which it was last month. I just wanted everyone to know that Go-Today handles problems promptly!"
From catherine fraser: "After just returning from Puerto Rico, I have lots to recommend. Most importantly, hotels. If you search online early or book a package via travel agent, you'll do better. We liked Isle Verde and the area, but shopping is best in Old San Juan. In Isle Verde, the Wyndham El San Juan is awful. Good for a drink at the bar or a visit to the cigar bar, but the rooms are horrible."
From Carol Bellanti: "Does any one know which theme park Magic Kingdom or Islands of Adventure is the better one to go to? We are limited to the number of days we have in Orlando, and we are trying to decide which one to go to."
From Kate W: "Is anyone aware of any travel consolidators to the Cook Islands? We traveled there 3 years ago using Discover Wholesale travel, and saved significantly over booking air and land separately. Not interested in a run-of-the-mill travel agent who cannot afford the time to seek out the best rates. We are really looking for a consolidator with a good reputation who has some buying power for year-round low prices. I would appreciate any input!"
