How Do You Transfer/Store Photos from a Digital Camera
From Wilma Patzkowski: "We just purchased a digital camera. We will be in Europe (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) for 5 weeks. I am not taking my lap top. Does anyone have experience in emptying the memory chip so that you can take more photos? I have a 256 mb flash drive and would like to download the extra pictures to that for storage. Is that allowed at an Internet cafe? Any other devices or ideas?" more>

Most Used and Favorite Travel Items
From Karen Wheeler: "I am a buyer for a new book store in Central New York and want to add some useful travel items. Travel alarm clocks, compasses, book lights, etc. My question is what are the travel items you can't do without? Or what items are just fun to use. I would apreciate your help from both adult and childrens perceptive. Thanks!" more>

Trenitalia Pass
From Sue Plowman: "Someone suggested buying a Trenitalia pass. We will be in Italy 14 days and all our travel throughout Italy will be done by train. My first train trip will be from Rome to Florence and then on to Poggibonsi/San Gimignano. I don’t think the pass guarantees a seat on ES just boarding. Should we go to the train station upon arrival in Rome and reserve a seat from Rome to Florence?" more>

Driving Coast to Coast with Kids
From CCinCalif: "I live in LA and want to drive to Michigan (with my Mom) to visit my parents with my 6 and 10 year old kids. Once there, I would drive to Washington DC, pick up my husband at the airport and take an East Coast driving tour, up to Boston, over to Canada, through Toronto, then back to Michigan. I would then drive back to LA by myself with the kids. I would take a month for this trip -- am I completely out of my mind, or is this a trip in a lifetime that I shouldn't pass up?" more>

Galena Illinois Cottage
From Steve Querrey: "My wife & I are heading for Galena in late October and are looking for a "cottage" or small home to rent for 3 or 4 nights and are looking for suggestions or ideas." more>
