From Don Bradford: "My wife and I traveled for a month in Bolivia and Peru with Dr. Richard Finch and his wife Janie, as part of a trip arranged by them as Rutahsa Adventures. It was one of the best organized and enjoyable trips we have ever taken during the last 12 years."
From hoho: "I am considering an Alaska RV road trip vacation next summer 2003 around mid May. The plan would be to fly into Anchorage and rent an RV. Does anyone have a recommendation on the best place to rent an RV in Anchorage?"
From David Schwoegler: "I'll be visiting Baltimore's Inner Harbor neighborhood for several days for a conference in November. A noted travel guide warns, It is advisable to visit the [Lexington] market only during daylight hours. Leave wallets and handbags in a safe place and travel with a partner.' How safe is the Inner Harbor neighborhood?"
From Richard Hudson: "We made an online purchase of a GoToday.Com six-night 'City Break' package to London and were there May 17-23, 2001. The package was advertised at $599 for round trip air, transfers, and 6 nights in a hotel. We opted to upgrade the hotel one notch, making the price $649. As with most packages, airport taxes must be added┬┐another $90. So, our final price, from the east coast, was $739."
From Ted Sherman: "It's enough of a hassle these days flying in the USA. So, when making vacation plans, why pile on foreign travel troubles? Going overseas includes longer airport delays, more body searches, suspicious immigration officials, gun-toting airport guards, hostile natives and grossly overpriced tourist traps. Worst of all, foreign travel now brings constant fear that those famous flying fanatics will again decide to take some more evil Americans to oblivion with them. But, hey, if you still insist on experiencing foreign thrills, try some USA alternatives."
