The noun, short for weblog, was defined by the dictionary as a "site that contains an online personal journal with reflections, comments, and often hyperlinks provided by the writer." Here are a few of our favorites.
If $3.50 gas is getting on your nerves, take a moment to pity folks in Europe paying $6/gallon -- and start thinking about your next train trip. Rail Europe, the source for European railpasses, has a slew of new discounts for the winter and new passes coming out in 2006. On our side of the pond, Amtrak has raised prices (but not by very much), and Canada's VIA Rail has a good deal for folks heading east.
Greetings! We pick up where we left off last week -- in St. Louis, Missouri. Then we travel to Niagara Falls briefly before we head off to yet another destination.
Spring break? What about winter break? How about a spring break package for a Christmas present? Talk about seasonal confusion! As with most things in life, prior preparation prevents major disappointments.

From Bill E.: "I just wanted to say that I spent 5 weeks in Poland and absolutely loved it. Torun, birthplace of Copernicus, was one of my favorite cities. It is a Unesco world heritage city right on the Vistula River repleate with an old Teutonic Knights Castle's Ruins and several old Churches, one of which the Pope said a mass at."
From Robert Allen: "We arrived in Miami last night from our 10-day trip to Lima and Cusco Peru with Gate1 Travel. Everything went as planned."
From trelawn: "We have visited Samoa 3 times in the last 2 years. Twice we have gone to a village called Manuse which is a bit out of the way from the main business area near the port. But it has the ideal sunset location, great coral reefs, and best of all it's very relaxing."
From sheileee: "Is anyone else annoyed at the way hotel beds are made? I'm talking about the bottom sheet that never stays tucked in, making for a messy bed to sleep in. I pack a double fitted sheet with me for those times. I stay in about 30-40 hotel nights a year, and this happens at even the high end hotels. I never could figure out why they don't have fitted sheets for a much better nights sleep."
From HappyHour: "I am planning a trip to Amsterdam for Summer '06 and am only beginning my research now. What are the don't-miss sites and best things to do in this city? I will try anything once and am open to a variety of suggestions. Also, is 4 days too short or too long to spend here?"
