Spring is definitely now in full swing: the snow and ice have melted away, grizzly bears come out of their winter hibernation, and the 2008 visitors season has begun at parks across the west.
Just a few miles from downtown Miami, Biscayne National Park is one of America's most playgrounds, a place where you can boat, snorkel, camp, watch wildlife, and explore a bit of history.
Although you may have been inclined to travel to U.S. National Parks independently in the past, the price of gas this summer may have you rethinking the prospect of hitting the road on your own.
