From Bobbie Ford: "The cruise was fine, but we have been disappointed lately in the quality of the food. We took the ship's excursion to Les Baux from Marseille and ship's bus to Florence. For our private tours, we used Dream Tours as our guide from Villefranche. I highly recommend them. Our driver met us promptly and showed us all the highlights, including out of the way spots for magnificent views. He was well informed and very pleasant. We used Sorrento Limo for our tours of Rome and Naples. We were very pleased with this service."
From G. Nelson: "Can anyone shed some light on this cruise line? My travel agent friend cannot find out if they are still operating or are really in bankruptcy or reorganizing. She told me she is really not recommending them because of their shady past. So if anyone from this cruise line reads this, maybe he/she can clear things up. My companion and I want to cruise the Greek Isles and liked ROC's Golden Fleece 7-day cruise. However, we don't want to get 'fleeced.'"
From Gabrielle Dubuc: "I'm booking a cruise on the Infinity to the Panama Canal. My travel agent recommends upgrading to Concierge Class. Does anyone know if it is worth the money? It's about about $500 extra."
From Ray Ciani: "We are scheduled for a Panama Canal cruise on the Coral Princess in the latter part of October. I plan to take quite a few photos and am trying to determine how I can send my photos home so that I can clear my SD/MMC card to be able to take more pictures. Can I send my photos home from the ship? Do they have the facility on board to place my photos onto a CD, or should I just go out and buy some more storage cards?"
From Cecil Murray: "My wife and I just returned from San Juan and the Golden Princess cruise to Aruba, Isla Margarita (Venezuela), Grenada, St Kitts, and St Thomas, all while Hurricane Frances was making its way across the Carribean, before ultimately crashing into Florida. Several posts have asked what adjustments the cruise lines make when there are major storms around."
