Costa Cruises (tel. 800/GO-COSTA; www.costacruises.com) is offering seniors a mighty fine deal on the November 26 sailing of the Costa Magica out of Ft. Lauderdale. Fares are as low as $299 per person double occupancy for the cruise, which visits San Juan, St. Thomas, La Romana (Dominican Republic) and Grand Turk. Available for new bookings only and valid for residents 55 years of age or older in the US and Canada only, at least one person in cabin must be at least 55. Proof of age required. Barefoot Bargains

Book 7-night Caribbean cruises on Polynesia for as low as $399 per person on the November 26 and December 3 and 17 sailings to the French West Indies. MSC Cruises (tel. 800/666-9333; www.msccruises.com) special "Best Fare, Best Room" promotion for Mediterranean and Northern European sailings allows guests to reserve the best stateroom within various categories (interior, oceanview, balcony, etc) at the lowest available price at time of booking. Cruise-only 7-night rates for inside cabins start at $795 and oceanview at $995 per person, double occupancy.
As an added bonus, passengers can combine this special rate with the line's "Kids Sail Free" offer: children ages 17 and under sharing a stateroom with two paying adult guests sail free (except for government fees and taxes).
To take advantage of the "Best Fare, Best Room" deal, you must book by January 31.
