This Thursday, August 28th, Carnival (tel. 888/CARNIVAL; www.carnival.com) is throwing a one-day sale that spells free upgrades and discounts on most every cruise sailing through Aug. 31, 2009. The 24-hour sale includes 3- and 4-night cruises to the Bahamas and Baja California, Mexico starting at $249 per person and 7-nighters to the Caribbean and Mexican Riviera as low as $529 per person. Some restrictions apply. Full deposit required at booking and offer is not combinable with other promotions and discounts, with the exception of supersaver rates.
