The World's 10 Best Bike Tours

Born to Ride
By Carrie Havranek

Bicycle tours can transform the way you see your destination. Rather than rushing through, bike trips give you the time to notice small details: the way the road bends, how the sun glints off the water, the scent of an olive grove.

Once you reach your destination and join the group, you'll find that many bike tours cover just about everything (lodging, meals, equipment). No matter your skill level, the tour provider will trail you with a vehicle for "support."

In other words, if you want to stop and linger, you can leave the group for a bit and not have to worry about the logistics, like "Who's got my bike?" or "Where's the awesome cheese I bought?"
