Author Info. for Frommer's Argentina, 3rd Edition

Michael Luongo has written on Argentina for the New York Times, National Geographic Traveler, Bloomberg News, Out Traveler, and many other publications. He is also the author of Frommer's Buenos Aires. His debut novel, The Voyeur, was published by Alyson Books in 2007, and he has written several other travel books. He has visited more than 80 countries and all seven continents, but few places have stolen his heart like Argentina. Highlights include riding Juan Perón's coffin through the streets of Buenos Aires during his 2006 reburial, and wearing a dab of perfume from the last bottle of fragrance Evita used before her death to a dinner party. Visit him at www.michaelluongo.com and www.misterbuenosaires.com.

Charlie O'Malley is an Irishman who lives and works in Mendoza, Argentina. He has worked on several Frommer's guidebooks for countries all over South America and Central America. He edits his own magazine in Argentina called Wine Republic.

Christie Pashby has written for Frommer's for a decade. She covers western Canada and the southern regions of Chile and Argentina. By the time she was 25, Christie had lived in Berlin, the Cote d'Azur, Chile, and Costa Rica, and studied in three Canadian provinces, earning degrees from McGill University and University of King's College. But the mountains were calling; along with her Argentine husband, she splits her time between homes in Canmore, Alberta, and Bariloche, Argentina, two of the world's finest alpine playgrounds. She is a freelance translator, journalist, and also runs a small guiding business in Patagonia. Her website is www.patagonialiving.com.
