Royal Caribbean International has sliced 20% off its 9 May departure on Independence of the Seas with prices coming in at £950 per person. The price is based on two people sharing an inside cabin. Passengers kick off their 12-day cruise from Southampton and call at Funchal in Madeira, Tenerife, Las Palmas, Lanzarote and Vigo in Spain before returning home. All meals, entertainment onboard and taxes are included. Additionally, the operator is offering free car parking in Southampton port and coach transfer to the ship, although to get this part of the deal you must book by 29 February.

Deal 2: Spring in the USA
Treat yourself to spring time on the US east coast. Virgin Holidays has an enticing 41% off a three day trip to Boston including flights from London Heathrow and hotel (room only) for a miserly £397 per person, based on two sharing. Deal 3: Happy birthday all round
Luxury travel group Beachcomber marks its 60th birthday in 2012 and by way of celebrating it is offering guests booking to travel to Mauritius and the Seychelles in June a whopping 60% off its accommodation rates. Deal 4: Haven sent bargains
Haven Holidays' January sale is offering customers a raft of sizeable savings on holidays between now and the spring. The UK static home holiday park operator will give you up to half price on three and four nights breaks between March 16 and May 28 (excluding school and bank holidays) and a third off Easter school holiday seven night and three and four night breaks. A sample price? Deal 5: Ski savings
Save £156 on a March ski trip to super popular St Anton in Austria.
