Tokyo Deals for Spring

If you've got a yen to go to Japan in the near future, you may want to schedule your departure for the end of April or early May. While that may be too late to see the cherry blossoms bloom, it could also be your last chance for a good deal this side of summer.

We've found excellent round-trip deals to Tokyo Narita from most major US airports via American (tel. 800/433-7300; www.aa.com) and United (tel. 800-241-6522; www.united.com), as well as the occasional stray from Continental and Delta. Get 'em fast before they go the way of those cherry blossoms.

Southwest Nationwide Sale

The latest Nationwide Sale from Southwest (tel. 800-435-9792; www.southwest.com) is good for travel from April 1 through June 25, and only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Fares are available for as little as $98 round-trip, and include:

Other airlines are matching and more may follow so check your airport page on Airfarewatchdog.com for updates.

Singapore for a Song

If Singapore is more your bag, you'll be pleased to know we've found just as many deals over there, good for travel this spring. And we found them on Lessno.com (www.lessno.com), using their international flexible search.

Fares include:

Facelift: We've Had Some Work Done!

Click on over to Airfarewatchdog.com and you'll see a whole new, easier to read look. Plus we've redesigned our fare details pages, which we hope you'll find easier to navigate.

We've also added City to City alerts, for those only interested in flying between certain cities. How does that work? When a fare is at a level that we consider a "buy" on a given route, like say New York to Los Angeles, we'll send you notification. And unlike other sites, we'll include promo code fares, and deals on all airlines, including Southwest, JetBlue, Skybus, Allegiant and those wacky Spirit 2 cent deals.

And we'll do the same thing for your international destinations too. Just interested in visiting, say, Berlin? Want to see fares from every city in the US or Canada to Berlin that's cheap to fly from? You got it. So now, if St. Louis to Berlin costs $900 RT and Chicago to Berlin is $400 RT, you can make an informed buying decision.

And of course, we still offer our usual daily, frequent, and weekly newsletters with all fares from your designated airport.
