Las Vegas always seems to be on sale, but fortunately there's always something to do in Sin City. Delta Vacations (tel. 800/800-1504; delivers the latest Las Vegas deal with three-night winter getaway, from $279 including airfare from Salt Lake City.

Thankfully, winter in Las Vegas isn't like winter in much of the rest of North America. Expect temperatures to range in the low 40s to low 60s from December to February. It'll likely be warm enough to walk up and down the Strip (and odds are it will be sunny).

Make time for the obligatory stops in front of the Bellagio fountains and other casinos along the Strip. For a different taste of Vegas, head downtown to the Fremont East district for art galleries, lounges, and piano bars. Your stay is at the MGM Grand Hotel, but you can select from any number of hotels up and down the Strip -- just expect your price to fluctuate accordingly.

Why is this a deal? A Kayak search for airfare on Jan. 21 revealed that a Delta flight started at $139 per person, including taxes. Three nights at MGM Hotel & Casino in a deluxe king room will cost $392 with taxes, or $196 per person. If booked separately, the trip would cost $335 per person, including all taxes. This Delta Vacations package saves you $56 per person -- enough for a nice meal at one of the top Vegas restaurants.
