Inflation seems to be driving up prices for all types of travel but one: cruises.
Case in point: Celebrity Cruises is selling weeklong Alaskan and Caribbean sailings starting at just $399.
That rate isn't limited to cruises in the near future, either. Passengers who book before June 2 can snag staterooms at the discounted price for voyages through the end of April 2023.
The cost for Celebrity's weeklong European jaunts is less jaw-dropping but still good, with a starting price of $949 for the week.
The deal also includes $100 worth of shipboard credits.
There are some limitations you should be aware of. First and foremost, there's that aforementioned condition that all sailings must be booked by Thursday, June 2, to get in on the offer. And you must be either a Canadian or U.S. citizen to take part.
In addition, the offer does not cover tours or sailings to and through the Galápagos Islands.
Surprisingly, with this deal you can book cruises aboard Celebrity's newest ship, Celebrity Beyond.
To make a reservation at the discounted rate, Celebrity is asking cruisers to call 800/CELEBRITY and use the code "Memorial Day Cruise Only."
It might be a wiser course, though, to go through a travel agent so you have someone to help you if your plans (or world events) shift. Just alert the agent to that same code, and you should be good to go.
