JetBlue Announces New Service to Anchorage, Alaska
JetBlue is adding another city to their roster... its 65th city, in fact. Starting May 26, the airline will begin seasonal daily nonstop service to Anchorage, Alaska, from Long Beach, California. Grab a seat now at a special introductory price of $119 each way. Act fast -- the offer is good through Friday, Oct. 29. Valid for travel from May 26 through June 22, Mondays through Thursdays.
Round-trip flights will depart Long Beach at 7:40pm and arrive in Anchorage at 11:57pm. From Anchorage, round-trip flights depart at 1:10am and arrive in Long Beach at 7:33am.

Peak Holiday Fare Availability
Frustrated by holiday fares? You're not alone. Here's a little something from the Airfarewatchdog mailbag.
Q: I'm trying to find a good fare to return home for Christmas, but not having much luck. I'm pretty flexible, and can depart Dec. 22, 23, or 24, and return Dec. 28. You have a fare of $158 round-trip, with no blackout dates, that covers these dates during Christmas, but I cannot book it. Whenever I follow the links and attempt to book the fare on Travelocity, they show my dates as available on their calendar, but when I click on them they are X'ed out as unavailable. What is up with this?
