Guy Builds NYC Igloo, Charges $200 on Airbnb

It's chilling proof that not every listing on Airbnb is high-quality: After last weekend's snowstorm, which laid more than two feet of snow on New York City, a Brooklyn man built an "igloo" in his front yard—and listed it for rent for $200 a night, reports Metro.

No bathroom, no electricity, plastic-covered pillows, and a roof that may not last until the end of the day—oh, Brooklyn. Your commentary is so brittle.

"Boutique Winter Igloo for Two", the headline read. The purple language of the listing might hint that its proprietor was using Airbnb for a bit of postmodern sarcasm on bespoke consumerism: "Dripping with ingenuity and alt-lifestyle aura lays the Snowpocalypse of 2016's most desirable getaway. Hand-crafted, and built using only natural elements..."

Airbnb yanked the listing as soon as it found it, but images of it were preserved elsewhere.
