Budget carrier Alaska Airlines is pruning the cost of flights to Mexico for travel now through December 18, but you must purchase by October 17 and at least 14-days in advance of your travel date with a minimum two-night stay required with a maximum 30-day stay. The discounts are divided into two categories, "Saver Fares" and "Super Saver Fares." You get a bigger discount--up to an additional $60 off--if you can fly south on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday and north on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.
