Save $100 on Inexpensive Italian Insights Into Spring

If you book an Amazing Italy Tour from Insight Vacations by September 30, 2002, you can save $100 per couple on an already low priced nine-day tour of that country, starting from $1,185 per person, based on double occupancy. This includes airfare out of New York as well.

From now through April 12, 2003, tours depart regularly for this nine-day/seven-night trip, which visits Rome, Florence and Venice. In the Eternal City, you'll see St. Peter's, the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, the Coliseum and Ancient Forum, the Trevi Fountain by night (throw your coins in over both shoulders for extra luck) and more.

You then drive through the vineyards of Tuscany to Florence, where you'll have a guided walking tour of the city, including visits to the Accademia (for Michelangelo's magnificent statue of David), the marble-clad cathedral and a leatherworking demonstration.

In Venice, you will cruise along the city's famous canals past 12th-century palazzos, Palladio's splendid church of San Giorgio Maggiore and St. Mark's Square. There, you will visit the glorious basilica, the Doge's Palace and the infamous Bridge of Sighs. You end your stay with a glass-blowing demonstration, then travel back along the "Highway of the Sun" through the Apennine Mountains, back to Rome. The tour ends with a regional farewell dinner.

In Rome, you spend a night at the beautiful Melia Aurelia hotel, located in the city's heart. You will be accompanied throughout your trip by a professional tour director and travel in an air-conditioned motorcoach. Your other hotels will be first class, with service charges, taxes and porterage all included.

Though the $1,185 price is out of New York, additional gateways are available from throughout the USA.
