Asador La Cabaña
Located near the promenade northwest of the old city and a little inland from the Torre de Hercules, La Cabaña’s wood-fired grill lets diners enjoy both specialties of Galician cuisine: the wonderful deep-sea fish and the luscious marbled beef. The bar area has all the regional tapas as well, including octopus and a dizzying array of tinned fish. La Cabaña serves vegetarian dishes, but they’re pretty much limited to the salads and roasted sweet potato. The other veggie dishes have bits of ham, egg, or cheese. The red wine list is impressive in its value and variety.
