Blackwoods and Seawall
There are no inns or hotels in the wild interior sections of this park. However, the National Parks Service does maintain two seasonal campgrounds, Blackwoods and Seawall. Both are simplistic and bucolic; don't expect lots of services, and don't expect your campsite to be tucked at the base of Cadillac Mountain or on the ocean. Still, they're convenient, inexpensive, and family-friendly. Blackwoods is on Rte. 3, 5 miles south of Bar Harbor. Seawall is on Rte. 102A, 4 miles south of Southwest Harbor.
