Most of the food here is cooked either over an open, wood-fired grilled or in a brick oven which produces perfectly seared South American style grilled steaks and artisanal pizza that have a wonderful smokiness to them. (The food is meant to evoke the cuisine of La Plata River, which runs between Argentina and Uruguay.) The fare is complimented by the impressive wine and beer selection, though we always go for the primo house sangria. All of this is served in a pleasant brick and dark wooden bar and dining room by friendly, professional staff.
