For bus information, visit the Gard département transport website at www.edgard-transport.fr. The town does not have a bus station, only a bus stop. If you're driving to Aigues-Mortes, take D979 south from Gallargues, or A9 from Montpellier or Nîmes.

Special Events -- Every August, Aigues-Mortes puts on its medieval finery to celebrate the Fête de St-Louis. Three days of parades, dances, jousting tournaments, and fireworks culminate in a reenactment of St. Louis's departure on the seventh Crusade.
