Le Mille Feuille

Nestled into a quiet corner of Aix’s Old Town, this excellent eatery stands out against the often-average local dining scene. Little surprise, as the restaurant is the brainchild of chef Nicolas Monribot and sommelier Sylvain Sendra, both former staff at the famous l’Oustau de Baumanière in Les Baux. The market-fresh menu changes daily but may include yellow and green zucchini crumble with cœur de bœuf tomatoes, Sisteron lamb atop an almond and apricot tajine, or a delectable vanilla bourbon millefeuille pastry. You can dine either on the small outdoor terrace or indoors, where the classy decor features crimson walls and chartreuse upholstered furnishings.
