Claiming the sweetest spot on the cruise port jetty pier, this luxe hotel is our hands-down choice in Alicante. We especially enjoy turning off the air-conditioning and sliding open the door to the terrace to go to sleep to the sound of the waves. Rooms are all roughly 270 square feet (25 sq m), making them spacious by Spanish standards. The gym and excellent spa incur an extra cost but the point here is the view, the sun, and the azure waters of the harbor.
