Timoti’s Seafood Shak

A casual counter-service seafood shack—er, shak—located a half block off Main Street, Timoti’s is hugely popular for the super fresh, and wild caught, seafood it serves. That can range from fried, blackened or grilled shrimp or fish, to poke bowls, lobster rolls and clam chowder. The Baja Box is particularly good value (and delish): a choice of fish, shrimp, chicken, or tofu served over coconut rice with avocado, greens, black bean salsa, and a tangy cilantro ranch. Their tacos rock, too. There’s covered outdoor seating and a little playground so that kids can blow off steam while you dine. There’s another location in Ponte Vedra at 152 Crosswater Parkway (tel. 904/686-2431). Note: There’s often a line but it moves quickly.
