Getting There

By Train or Bus -- Sixteen trains a day make the 12-minute trip from Miltenberg to the Amorbach terminus, in addition to a handful of buses, which need 30 minutes to reach the town. By Car -- From Miltenberg, follow Route 469 south for 11km (7 miles).

Visitor Information

The Stadt Verkehrsamt, at the Rathaus, Marktplatz 1 (tel. 09373/20940; www.amorbach.de), is open April to October Monday to Friday 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2:00 to 5:30pm, Saturday 10:30am to 2:30pm. From November to March, it is open Monday to Friday 10am to noon and 3 to 5pm.
