Exposed brick walls, vintage furniture, and pendant lighting in the common areas give it a hip vibe and its small, simply decorated rooms have clever design touches, like wood headboards mimicking the surrounding gabled canal houses. The double beds are comfortable though a bit tight for two; the marble bathrooms are extremely petite, but do sport rainforest showers. Best is the attic room, which feels large thanks to its pitched roof and windows on three sides.
