This is quite simply one of the most gorgeous hotels in the city, with individually decorated rooms boasting genuine antique furnishings in a variety of opulent Biedermeier, Art Deco, or rococo styles with original 17th-century wooden floors. The attic rooms have sloped ceilings and exposed wood beams and provide the perfect romantic hideaway for couples. Breakfast is served in the guest rooms as there are no public spaces beyond the entrance lobby, which cuts overhead and may explain the exceptionally reasonable prices for a hotel of such comfort and opulence. As with so many Canal Ring hotels, there's no elevator.
