This lovely old theater was once Amsterdam's circus arena, but these days a circus performs here only over Christmas. The theater hosts a few English-language productions of opera, contemporary dance, and ballet, as well as best-selling big-name shows such as “Book of Mormon.” International acts (Glen Hansard, Bryan Ferry) also perform here from time to time.
