Getting There — About two TGV trains per hour (trip time: 55 min.) and a handful of regular trains (trip time: 1.5 hr. or 1 hr. high-speed) arrive every day from Bordeaux; the one-way fare is 20€. Frequent train service also arrives from Saintes (trip time: 1 hr.) and Poitiers (trip time: 45 min.). From Paris’s Montparnasse Station, some 15 TGV trains make the trip daily (trip time: 1 hr., 18 min. with the new high-speed TGV); the one-way fare is 35€ to 85€.
