The Bistro East
Everything is hand-made at this sunny little bistro, from the pizza and sandwich dough to the pasta. And that guarantees food that always tastes fresh, even when it’s just a simple salad or plate of noodles. Not that all the food is basic: one of our favorites is the “Seafood Fettucine,” a rich and satisfying plate of pasta loaded with pan-seared Digby scallops cooked in lobster cream sauce. Friday evenings there is live entertainment with no cover charge.
