Planning a trip to Apt

Getting There -- Apt has no railway station. Buses from Avignon (trip time 75 min.) drop passengers in a parking lot beside the Route de Digne (tel. 04-90-74-20-21), at the eastern periphery of town. The best way to reach Apt is by driving; follow the N100 east from Avignon.

Special Events -- Apt is the main base for the annual Luberon Jazz Festival (www.luberonjazz.net), which takes place in May and attracts musicians from all over France for a week of concerts.
