Set on Manchebo Beach, this timeshare resort offers double the amenities, since guests can also use the facilities at next door Aruba Beach Club. On the quieter side, the resort is ideal for families and older couples, but it still offers plenty of perks typical of larger hotels, such as on-site pools, bars, Jacuzzis, and daily maid service (note, however, that the extra nightly fees can stack up). Guests can choose from two-bedroom Presidential Suites with full kitchens and two bathrooms and two-bedroom Ambassador Suites, featuring private baths and full kitchens, set in their own courtyard with a pool. The wicker and bamboo décor is slightly dated in some of the rooms, but the property is in the process of updating rooms throughout. The major bonus of the suites is that they are spacious, and some already have more modern touches like flat-screen TVs and new bedding. The suites also offer island or ocean views from the balconies (unless you're across the street in the Ambassador Suites—note, however, that those rooms can be quieter). The resort's upscale beachside restaurant, Matthew's, is a hotspot for both guests and other visitors to the island, with perfect views of the ocean.
