Set about a 20-minute walk from the high rises and Palm Beach, this low-budget option offers guests plenty of benefits. Rooms throughout the yellow stucco two-floor buildings are spacious, with options ranging from studios to one-bedroom apartments, each with their own bathroom, terrace (ground units), or balcony (second story). There are also kitchenettes with a fridge and microwave. While it's not in the heart of downtown, everything is close by, and you can hop on a bus (the stop isn't too far) if you want to save on cab fare. Lacking the amenities of a nicer hotel (like hot water, for instance), the motel makes up for them in other ways, from clean rooms to the friendly staff and owner. While it can seem a bit dated and in need of updated furniture and bathrooms (some units are a bit more modern than others, but it's really the luck of the draw), there are a few fine perks like cable TV, air conditioning, free breakfast (more than continental), and a small pool.
