Stage Shows in Aruba

Downtown has lost some of its nightlife and no longer features stage shows or musical reviews.

High-Rise Area

The Occidental Grand's Las Palmas Showroom, J.E. Irausquin Blvd. 83, Palm Beach (tel. 297/586-4500), boasts the largest stage in Aruba. The theater's multinational performers present different spectacles each week. The shows include Cir Caribe, Latin Explosion, Grease, and Aruba Nights. The 45-minute shows start at 9pm and cost $20 unless you are an Occidental guest, in which case, the show is on the house.

Zissles Aruba (tel. 888/723-3410 or 297/586-3800; www.zissles.com), located at L.G. Smith Blvd. 312A, 2nd Floor, Paseo Herencia, has tried to revive the dying show scene with a dinner show that turns into a nightclub afterwards. Show tickets cost $50 per person without dinner or $85 to $95 per person with dinner. Shows start at 8pm. If you want to skip the dance revue and just do drinks and dancing, then you should plan to arrive after 9:30pm.
