High style doesn't have to come at a high price. That's the lesson this chic hotel teaches; it's often significantly less expensive than others in its category and in this neighborhood. And its a darn fun place to stay: the ultra-colorful lobby looks like something out of a Jetson's cartoon (love the rainbow check-in desk!) as do the nifty outdoor areas with their contemporary fire pits. Rooms aren't quite as vibrant (they're done up in soothing whites with pops of primary colors) and they tend to be on the small size. But they're well-designed, with such niceties as I-Pod docking stations and small fridges, and have excellent beds. In fact, they'll even arrange dog beds if you ask, as the hotel is pet friendly. It allows pooches at no extra charge and provides them with a dog run (on the third floor, where all those with pets are housed; if you're dog-averse, you'll likely want to be on another floor).
