Tacos Jalisco
If it's warm enough to dine al fresco, make your way to this spot in West Asheville. The restaurant has a swell view from the deck, and although it doesn’t have a liquor license (for all you margarita lovers), they do serve beer, which is preferable to wash down the delicious varieties of tacos they serve. Consistently excellent, my favorite on the menu is the al pastor taco (shredded pork, marinated in pineapple, chiles and spices). The food is authentic enough to attract a large Latino clientele. Service is prompt and friendly, no matter the time of day.
