This memorial on the bank of the Roaring Fork River is one of the more peaceful spots in Aspen. A series of cut stones were carved with the lyrics of the late singer-songwriter and longtime Aspen-area resident, including, naturally, “Rocky Mountain High,” now an official state song of Colorado.
