Pantéon Nacional de los Heroes
Located on the historic Plaza de los Heroes and inspired by Les Invalids in Paris, this monument contains the remains of Mariscal López and the unknown child soldier. It is a grand central dome over a round pit with flag-draped coffins and caskets below. Around it are various plaques and tributes with some nice stained-glass windows. Outside, it is in dire need of renovation, with peeling paint and decapitated statues.
