Athens Studios, also known as Athens Backpackers and Studios, is on a relatively quiet street near the Acropolis Metro station (and also near a handy laundromat). There are single and double private rooms, beds in 4- or 6-person dorms and 2- to 4- (or 4- to 6-person) private apartments. In high season, a minimum stay of a week is sometimes required. Apartments have private kitchenettes; shared dorms have shared kitchenettes; ditto with bathroom facilities. Many units have balconies and the higher-floor apartments have larger balconies and city views. This is not a place that usually offers peace and quiet, but that said, the kitchen facilities make this a good place to consider for an economical stay.
