This 30,000-sq.-ft. indoor playground is a child's dream: It exercises each of the five senses through a variety of hands-on, interactive, multi-sensory exhibits. In the Fundamentally Food hall, kids can have a farming experience where they select their produce, put it on a tractor, transport it to the delivery truck, and load it up via a forklift. After they're done, they can enter the grocery store and fill their carts with their own food necessities. In the Tools for Solutions exhibit, pint-sized engineers learn how to operate simple machines. There's also the toddler-exclusive Crawl Space, full of blocks and tunnels that will help your young'un burn off some energy. Summer brings unique activities by way of camps—from those that promote imagination to science discovery programs to adventure-themed workshops. Year round, keep your eye out for special events like "Superhero Science Night," where kids are encouraged to dress up and come out for some hands-on fun involving robotics and other learning opportunities. On the second Tuesday of every month, admission to the Children's Museum is free after 1pm. Parking in the lots surrounding the museum ranges from $10 to $13.
