This old 1924 building got spruced up and turned into one of the cutest little boutique hotels around. Appropriately, it's located in the middle of the arts district, close to a number of museums and music venues. That could be the inspiration behind the sleek interior design, which tastefully combines leather touches and pops of red with old photos of musicians and silver screen stars such as Elvis Presley, Audrey Hepburn, and Marilyn Monroe. On pleasant nights, live jazz in the softly lit courtyard is a treat. While the basic rooms are quite nice, the suites—one bedrooms, two bedrooms, or lofts—are perfect for those who want to cook, as each is very spacious and comes with a fully equipped kitchen. Due to the hotel's central locale off West Peachtree, its Studio + Lounge bar is always hopping. With a MARTA station less than a block away, the Artmore is a popular option for car-less travelers who want to walk or use public transit to get around. The only downside to the Artmore is that it's not well insulated, so noise carries (i.e., pack earplugs).
