Atlanta Breakfast Club-- Right near the aquarium, and serving both breakfast and lunch (despite the name), this is a rollicking diner, with solid southern fare and some creative options, too, like scrumptious peach cobbler pancakes. Get there early as there's often a wait to get in.

Doc Chey's Noodle House
-- This casual neighborhood favorite has two special children's entrees, but there are also several other rice and noodle dishes that will appeal to the younger set.

Fellini's Pizza -- The New York-style pizza served here is a treat that will please everyone, and it's available by the slice. Salads are also superb, and you can sit outside if you choose.

OK Café -- OK Café's classic comfort food and jukebox are sure to please kids of all ages.

Pasta Vino -- Do kids like this place? One 3-year-old from the neighborhood insisted on having his birthday party here so he could have his favorite food -- a slice of white-cheese pizza with pesto. There's plenty for parents, too, including fresh veal, seafood, and excellent lasagna.

The Varsity -- The greasy feasts at the world's largest drive-in restaurant are big kid-pleasers.

Woody's Famous Philadelphia Cheesesteaks -- A great stop with kids in tow, whether you're coming from a day at nearby Piedmont Park or headed that way with your sandwiches. The menu is simple and prices are reasonable, making selections easy. If the cheesesteak is too much for your little one to handle, they have great hot dogs as well. Kids also love the orange freezes.
