Decorated in warm tones throughout, this three-star family-run hotel offers the best value stay in Autun. From some bedrooms you can see the cathedral, and from others, the surrounding countryside; all have a shower or bath, and some have air conditioning. The focus of the menu, naturally, is the dishes and produce of Burgundy: We were particularly impressed by the excellent-value four-course “Menu Tête Noire” (23.50€) featuring Charolais steak in mustard sauce.
