Arriving — If you’re driving, take A6 south until reaching A38, then turn onto N81 towards Autun. Rail links to Autun are awkward. Six high-speed TGV trains a day from Paris’s Gare de Lyon run to Le Creusot-Montceau, 40km (25 miles) south of Autun taking under 1 1/2 hours. From there, take a 30-minute bus connection to Autun. In Autun, buses arrive at a parking lot by the railway station on avenue de la République. For bus information, visit www.mobigo-bourgogne.com/bourgogne_en.
