La Banasterie

This oh-so-pretty B&B is situated in a 16th-century property just opposite the Palais des Papes. It’s owned by gregarious chocolate lover Tanguy—and his candy-fueled passion permeates throughout. The traditionally decorated bedrooms (exposed stone walls, sumptuous fabrics) are named for varieties of chocolate, and decadent cups of cocoa are on offer at bedtime. Don't have a sweet tooth? Guest rooms also have Nespresso machines and Missoni bath products. Four living rooms throughout the building are decked out in Hermès textiles and designer furnishings; rooms also boast Nespresso coffee machines and the Missoni bath products. The indulgent breakfast alone (included in the rate) makes this spot unmissable. Note that there is no elevator.
