Mesón del Rastro
The inn run by the Hotel El Rastro crew is a more rustic affair than the hotel, and it’s very popular with tourists from other parts of Spain who know good if greasy roast meats when they encounter them. The suckling pig almost goes without mentioning, but the real focus here is on many different roasted preparations of lamb, veal roasts, and—one dish done on top of the stove—pan-fried sweetbreads.
