On low floating pallets at the riverside, this restaurant (known locally as the floating restaurant) has swell views of the overworked tugboats pulling heavy barges filled with rice. Inside, it’s charmingly cluttered with knick-knacks, all displayed without regards for spacing or style. The satisfying Thai-Chinese stir-fry and curries are good, but the reason everyone is here is the giant river prawns. Go with the flow and order the signature dish grilled with a spicy dipping sauce. Lick your lips and say “aroy mak”—very delicious!
